This page contains the pre-class wprksheets we will use for MAT085. There is one worksheet for each chapter section. It will be due on the day that the section is being covered. As stated in my letter and syllabus, these assignments are intended to help you prepare for class in order to make the class the most effective it can be.
There are two writing sections that must be completed using every line, or else the assignment cannot be counted for extra credit.

The problems on the back of each sheet must also be attempted. You make take the assignment to the math center, work on it with a partner or several, use WAMAP for extra help or find similar problems. The answers to the questions are in the back of the book which means with some problems you may be able to work backwards to figure out how the problem is done.
